HOPE WORLDWIDE is a community in service to the most vulnerable people around the globe, working on an individual-to-individual, heart-to-heart basis, letting them know they have not been forgotten. The men and women of HOPE worldwide feel called to help the least fortunate among us. Thousands of individuals and organizations have become HOPE worldwide valued partners in this important work. Working together they are making a difference.

They are fighting the HIV/AIDS pandemic and its consequences in Africa and around the world, building a new health care system in Cambodia, providing homes and jobs for leprosy patients and their families ostracized in India, and increasing literacy rates in underperforming U.S. schools. These complex challenges defy simple solutions and typically require new and innovative approaches, prompting  to develop “best practices” that have made HOPE worldwide a recognized leader in working to eradicate poverty and its effects.

HOPE worldwide develops integrated solutions to the underlying problems of poverty on a non–sectarian basis by building partnerships, engaging local leaders, and leveraging available resources. The poor typically work hard but struggle to break a cycle of poverty that can span generations. Whether it's teaching new job skills, training teachers or improving access to health care, HOPE worldwide works with communities through Centers of HOPE worldwide to create sustainable solutions that go beyond addressing symptoms of distress.

HOPE worldwide, Indonesia, is implementing various programs to reach out to the under privileged sections of the society. Of the 222.8 million people living in Indonesia, half live off of under $2 a day. The volunteers at HOPE worldwide in Jakarta, work tirelessly to help the poor and needy of Indonesia, through the poverty and disease that threatens them daily. JABA is privileged to have partnered with HOPE Worldwide Indonesia. Their representatives have visited us during the occasion of  Bijoya Sammilani and have kindly accepted a token donation pack from our members. However, our endeavor is to increase the donations to HOPE worldwide to the extent possible, with support from our members.
